Visiting relatives want to go tonight - I've never been - and am wondering if anyone can recommend particular dishes there that might be good.
I really enjoyed the veal scallopini at Da Silvano. I was less impressed with the pastas, although I can't remember specifically which ones I tried.
Thanks - wouldn't be my first choice of where to go for dinner - but I do like veal scallopini!
I highly recommend the steak tartar. Also, it's not on the menu but whenever we go we get vanilla ice cream with aged balsamic and a side of strawberries for dessert -- it's amazing!!
Thanks for the tip on the steak tartare - one of my favorite foods, but when I saw it on the menu it occurred to me that it might not be the best option in an Italian restaurant - glad to hear that's not the case.
Order the trippa. It's the best in the city.
so wha'd you think?
Working on a full report - will post as review - better than I thought it would be but not worth the money (even though we ended up being someone's guest).
I believe their pork tonnato is good.
