I finally got to try Bijan Bakery & Cafe since we went to Christmas In the Park. It's next to the Fairmont Hotel downtown SJ.

The place was crazy busy when we went Sat 12/15/07 around 9pm.

First get a number and then wait for someone to help you. It's a bit painful but your number finally gets called.

I just got a slice of Princess Cake which is $2.99. It's good. It's not Schubert's Princess Cake but Princess Cake is so hard to find, I like to eat it when I see it, plus I've tried it at the other Bijan Bakery & it's the same. They have the whole Princess Cake too..didn't ask how much though.

They also sell Gelato Classico, sandwiches, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

They also had Rasberry Linzor cookies $1.75 each.
    Almond cookies $7.99 /lb
    Strawberry Mousse $2.99 a slice
    Napoleon slice for $2.50
Buche de Noel (Yule Log) Small $22.95/ Lg $34.95

    Business card says they deliver.

      Great review (and pics) hhc!

We went to Bijan on a Saturday in March, and it wasn't terribly crowded but by the time we decided what we wanted (we didn't take a number) there was a bit of a line.

We got an apple tart (we would have had more if we weren't so full from having eaten breakfast at Il Fornaio just minutes earlier!) and it was okay...probably not the best item to have ordered from there but it was alright. I'd go back!
