Quick late-afternoon bite Monday

Coming up for a conference. A couple of guys would like to grab something "chowish." Will be in Midtown, so that area would be best. I know specific is better, but we would be up for most anything, as long as it can be done within an hour. Give me whatever you've got. :) Thanks.

BTW, if you have any info on how long it takes to cab to La Guardia from Midtown during peak evening hours, let me know. I will have to plan accordingly.

Are you eating at 5? Or before? If at 5:00, take a look at Casellula:

You could also try the Bar Room at the Museum of Modern Art-they are open all day:

It would be helpful to know where exactly in midtown your conference is taking place so we can recommend spots very nearby. Also, how late is "late afternoon"?

Wu Liang Ye, on 48th St., b/t 5th & 6th Avs., serves very good Szechuan cuisine.
