Pete's bakery on Atlantic?

Walked by Pete's bakery (I think that's the name) in the old Nosh space on Atlantic between Court and Boerum. Cupcakes in the window and plenty of other stuff. Has anyone tried this place?

I'm still searching for the best cupcake in cobble hill - One Girl's is pretty good, but I have to believe there's one better. And I have not yet found a great Red Velvet. Is Pete's my answer?

I bought a birthday cake at Adam's and it was fantastic. HUGE cake for a really reasonable price and it tasted great. They also sell d'amicos coffee which is delicious.

I actually cant stand the cupcakes at downtown atlantic , the are flavorless monoliths. I prefer betty bakery on atlantic but I do look forward to trying something at Adams.

I haven't tried the new bakery on Atlantic, but Homage's organic cafe on Smith and Bergen has a really good vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. It's on the sweet side, but moist and they're generous with the frosting. They don't have any other flavors so unfortunately no red velvet.

haven't tried it yet, but its called Adam's. do a search for reviews of the Atlantic Antic. I believe some people tried it then & reported back.

Indeed, it is called Adam's - not sure where that mental lapse came from (though it was 6 AM when I walked by!) Tried a couple of cupcakes and a cookie/icing sandwich last night - quite good, will definitely be back and try some other stuff.

Downtown Atlantic is a bit out of the way, but I'll definitely try it when convenient.

Did you try Downtown Atlantic's cupcakes yet? It can be hit or miss in terms of freshness, but when you hit they are damned good.
