EXPENSIVE LUNCH PLACES/ORLANDO

I need to find a GREAT restaurant for a long, leisurely, and fun lunch. Downtown or Universal fine ~~ location should be 'reasonably' close to MCO. Good food, great service; price not the object.

Tommy Bahama just opened a cafe in Pointe Orlando. (I haven't been to that one, but their location in Sarasota is FAB ulous!) Not 100% if they're open for lunch but it's a great place, fun atmosphere, great food..check out website. Not "chain-like" in my opinion, as I think they only have a few cafes in existence.

I believe that Texas de Brazil on I-Drive has started doing lunch on weekdays. The website doesn't say that, but a friend mentioned it was so. Yeah, a chain but a decent churrascaria.

This. I am on Texas de Brazil's e-mail list, and they said they will be serving lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, but they aren't starting this until November 30th.

I've been to the Tommy Bahama at Pointe Orlando a couple of times. The food has been pretty good but the service has been very up and down--at times really, ridiculously slow. Hopefully those were just growing pains since they are new.

All the restaurants in the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Grande Lakes are excellent. I believe Norman's and Primo are only open for dinner, but you can get a great meal anywhere in those hotels, and they are fairly close to the airport.
