Anyone know of a place where I can purchase fresh abalone in Orange County? I want to take some back east to my dad as a surprise. I know it's rare, but any suggestions would be appreciated! Thaks in advance.
I've also seen them fresh in the shell (albeit the smaller 3 to 4 inch ones) at the Korean supermarkets, Arirang and Hannam on Garden Grove Blvd between Magnolia and Brookhurst.
