You could try Southern Seasons at University Mall in Chapel Hill.

I'm not in Raleigh, just curious. What's in it that makes it red?

Have you tried Capri Flavors in Morrisville? They're a distributor of Italian products and they have a retail shop at their warehouse.

You could try making your own. There should be several recipes for sun-dried tomato
'pesto' on the internet. During the tomato season I would make my own oven-roasted tomatoes, and then make pesto sauce with them. It's really quite easy to do.

yeah i've got a few good recipes, do you use a food processor? i don't own one right now but am thinking I will need to get one. I ended up finding some but it's $7 for a small jar at Fresh Market...which I just couldn't justify. I've got all the ingredients right now and was going to make a chunkier version of it first

I do use a food processor. Right now is a really good time to get one for yourself. I don't know what I ever did without it. SALES SALES SALES! I know Kohl's is having a big sale right now, and they have several to choose from. I'm sure other stores do too, but I happened to be there yesterday. $7 is steep. But in reality, if you had to buy fresh tomatoes right now, you would probably go over $7 just on them, not to mention any nuts or cheese you intend to use. Good luck
