Pros - the food is absolutely delicious. Really fresh ingredients, simply prepared to bring out the best of their flavors. Also, Renee is one of the bests hosts in the restaurant business.
Cons - it is outrageously expensive for what you get. Both times I have been, once at the original location once at the new, I was shocked at the prices. Last time I was there, I had a plate of mushrooms for around $30. These were specialty mushrooms, to be sure, and were very delicious, but it seemed absurd to pay that much for a modestly portioned plate of mushrooms. Most of the larger plates were around the same price, so I'm not complaining that I chose to order the $30 dish of mushrooms and then got what I expected. I just think that as good as the food is, its not necessarily worth the sticker shock that comes with the bill.
