Lunch recs

  • 4

Hey Everyone!

I'm bringing a friend of mine home to NY with me for thanksgiving. We are planning on going into the city on black friday for shopping, and I wanted to do lunch in the city. We are both foodies, so any type of food is fine and price is not an issue. We will most likely be in the Saks area, so something around there would be ideal, although I would be open to any other suggestions. I usually know all the hot places, but I live in Boston for most of the year, so i've fallen out of the loop a bit! The only limitation I may have is that I don't want anything too heavy, as it is the day after thanksgiving and i'm sure we will be stuffed.

Thanks so much!

its funny that you mention that because my friend stayed at the London a couple of months ago and always talks about how much he loved the restaurant there! thanks for the rec!

You can also hit David Burke in Bloomingdale's (in case you just happen to be shopping).

    2. You can try Maze by Gordon Ramsay at the London Hotel. It is close to Saks. Maze is the causal dining area (there is a main dining room) where they serve small plates. Great for sharing especially if you don't want to have too much food after TG. Food is delicious and I found the price to be very reasonable.
