Matzo Ball Soup in West LA

Does anyone know where to get quality matzo ball soup in the Santa Monica/Brentwood area? I need some for the holidays and don't know where to go in the area. Thank you in advance..

Maybe because I have enjoyed it since I was in a high chair, and my children (now in their 20s) after me, but the best is Nate n Al's. But as I said, as with all nursery food, it is personal.

No need to apologize -- Nate n Al's has excellent matzo ball soup. My favorite.

When my daughter is sick she always wants matzo ball soup and I like the version at Fromin's on Wilshire and 19th (altho' Tabachnik's frozen will do in a pinch). Juniors is also good, but less close to you.

I stopped at Fromin's a few weeks ago for a bowl when I had a cold.

It was early in the am, on my way to work.

Not fantastic, but it hit the spot.

One of the few things I actually really like at Jerry's Famous is their MBS. (It's the abundance of big, bright orange chunks of soft cooked carrot that get me.)

I actually find Jerry's pretty good for Matzoh. Better than Brent's, IMHO

I recall someone recommending the MB soup at Izzy's Deli (Wilshire Blvd. @ 15 street) in Santa Monica. I think my favorite version is from Junior's Deli on Westwood Blvd. just north of Pico on the west side of the street.

The best matzoh ball soup i had recently was from Braney Greengrass on the 5th floor of Barney's in BH. I had a pint to-go but they also sell by the quart.
