Favorite Costco Food Sample? [Moved from Southwest board]
After witnessing once again the carnage and mayhem at my local Costco, I ask you:
What is the one food sample that has caused you to run over three other people with your cart to insure that you got yours?

I try not to run anyone over, but I'm a sucker for just about anything in the frozen aisle. There are so many things that LOOK good, but I'm not parting with my hard earned for a honking big bag of something until I know what it tastes like.

I usually stay away because I'm afraid I might lose a finger. But I did like when Johnsonville had about 5 different kinds of sausage to sample and I'm a sucker for the expensive cheese samples.

I feel SO sorry for the food attendants that work those little ovens.
That being said, my husband goes around the back of the attendant (bypassing the line in front) to sneak his. It's so embarrassing. I don't know if he has a favorite - most of the frozen items. -

That would be the veal Osso Bucco that was being sampled 3 weeks ago here in Las Vegas. The scary part? People were lined up, like at a soup-kitchen for it to get finished heating up. The line was 6 people deep, and when I turned around to get a sample, I watched grown adults(!?!) become 5-year olds at a birthday party. I really wanted to try it, but was discusted at the behavior of these cretins! About an hour later, I managed to try it. Wow, not that good...Big surprise. The spiral-sliced ham was better to me!
