Breakfast pastas

  • 2

I miss the breakfast pastas from Hugo's in West Hollywood where I managed for 8 years. Fresh pasta, tossed in along with olive oil, garlic, a few eggs, Jodi Maroni sausage, bacon, scallions, mushrooms and parmesan cheese. SINFUL!!! And not a bad way to nurse a hangover. There are, of course, other varieties to make. Anything like that in Phoenix??? Hmmm...if no, that just me be the launching concept to my new restaurant. Along with pumpkin pancakes, a spicy huevos chipotles soup and freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices.....

    1. About the best I can do with that is I know that many years ago, Mimi's Cafe did one called Pasta Mamma. I know that if a Mimi's you go to has any cooks who were around when it was on the menu, they will be glad to make it. Call first ;-)
