Can you order from Frontera menu at Topolobampo at lunch?

We have reservations for lunch at Topolobampo for tomorrow but I think that my teenage son might find the Frontera menu more accessible. Is it possible to order from the Frontera menu at Topolobampos at lunch? If so, is it frowned upon or gracefully accommodated? Lastly, do I need a jacket at lunch time?

  1. I've never ordered from the opposite menu, so I don't know for sure, but I've been told you can order from either menu at either restaurant, gracefully (in other words, yes).

You don't need a jacket at either restaurant at lunch (or at dinner, either, for that matter).

    Enjoy your meal!

    1. I know that you can order from the Topolo menu on the Frontera side, I have done it many times, but I have never heard of the other way around. That is not to say it can't be done...

We had an excellent lunch at Topolo although our server came accross a bit condescending. Ironically she was the first server we had had in this trip that did not speak Spanish, including dinners at Spiaggia and Coco Pazzo). When we arrived we were told before being seated that we would not be able to order from the Frontera menu but when we explained that this was only for our 14 year old son they allowed him to order, but from the taco section only.
