Chestnut flour

Anywhere, preferably in the metrowest area, where I could buy chestnut flour? It's for pasta, not a cake, so I can't use the cake mix that Whole Foods sells. Thank you!

Thanks, all--haven't checked in here in a while. Yes, last time I was at WF in Framingham I saw that they, too, have some.

Whole Foods in Bedford has regular plain chestnut flour.

Whole Foods should have just plain chestnut flour - ours in Swampscott does.

Definitely have it in Chinatown (try 88), but I don't know how easy it will be to identify it as Chestnut flour if you don't read Chinese.

Not sure, but you could check Russo's. Otherwise, I think Christina's spice shop in Inman Square has it.

I know they have it at Dairy Fresh in the North End, but that sounds out of your way. Try the little health-food place in West Concord?

thanks--it's a haul out there, but if the turnover's good there it would be a nice excuse to eat out in the North End...
