Thanksgiving Pie Slices for Two

Hello,

My fiance and I are having our own small Thanksgiving this year. We don't want to get a whole pie but rather a few different slices of pies. Do you have any suggestions of bakeries that offer slices of a variety of pies? Thanks!

    Hey JackieParis~
You might try The Little Pie Company. They sell "little pies!" So instead of slices you can pie what appear to be single serving pies. A friend of mine SWEARS by the SourCream Apple Walnut pie. Being from the South, I'm a Pecan Pie or Key Lime fan.
    There's a store at Grand Central (downstairs), 14th St between 9th & 10th, and 43rd between 9th & 10th.
    Happy Thanksgiving!

Although they do indeed sell little pies, they also sell slices - and my personal preference, based on experience, is for the slices. The ratio of crust to filling is far better in the slice (the little pie is about 75% crust). Ditto the rec on the sour cream apple walnut - an exceptional pie. I suggest you buy slices and warm them briefly right before eating them.

You might also check Yura, at 92nd and Madison - they do sell slices of pie, and might be able to accomodate you.
