HELPWhat to do with Sahlens Polish Sausage?
Help, I went and bought a whole pkg of Sahlen's Polish Sausage and don't know what to do with them? I have never bought Polish Sausage before and really don't know how to either reheat them, on the grill? Should I first saute in liquid first? HELP HELP HELP!!!

I love Polish sausage in soups--a hearty lentil or a hunter style soup with tomatoes, veggies, whatever...
For plain sausage, I'd slice and saute in a bit of oil, just to crisp it up a bit, and serve with pierogis. Even Mrs. T pierogis are OK if you can't find them locally made.

Smoked Polish sausage needs only to be heated, not cooked. You can throw it in the crockpot and braise in beer. Or, cook itup with sauerkraut. Use it in jambalaya, or simply make a sandwich with rye bread, kraut and mustard.
Its very versitile. The grill is a great idea too.›1 Reply
