Where to buy Mulino Bianco cookies in Calgary?

Jetgirly Nov 10, 2007 02:30 PM

Mulino Bianco is an Italian line of pre-packaged baked goods made by Barilla. They are all over every supermarket in Italy, but I have yet to find a place that I can buy them in Calgary. Lina's doesn't carry them, neither does the Italian Supermarket a few blocks over. In particular, I am looking for Macine, The Best Cookies in the Whole Entire World (and probably the only cookies where the packaging says "part of a balanced breakfast"!).

Has anyone seen these on shelves somewhere? As per the link, I've always seen them in yellowish-beige bags with blue writing.

(The Italian Supermarket did carry a similar product, but they're not quite the same and are bigger... the last thing I need is bigger cookies...)

You could give Mercato a call.

Thanks for the suggestion - I gave them a call but they said the only baked goods they have that are not made in-store are ladyfingers. Alas...

This is a guess but maybe the Cookbook Company (they have quite a good selection of various ethnic goods) would have them or they might have a lead as to where you might find them in Calgary.
