Best flan in NYC?

Any style, any flavor: traditional, kahlua, ricotta, pumpkin, whatever.

I'm in heaven! The chocolate flan from Zabars' is amazing. Thank you Molander72 for the heads up! Thank you Claudy's Gourmet for making such a delicious caramel custard, Lychee is next up on my list!

"The best Flan/ Carmen Custard in NYC is found at Zabar's, made by Claudy's Gourmet. It's everything a flan should be; light, creamy and delicious. They have 5 flavors Vanilla, Chocolate, Coffee, Passion Fruit & Lychee. 1 for everyday of the work week, awesome!"

filipino places have a great leche flan (extremely dense) and they usually throw a nice chunk in their halo-halo as well if you want a slightly diff. experience. I always prefer Ihawan in Woodside. can't give a super solid rec on any manhattan filipino dessert spots tho.

Santa Fe Grill on 7th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. To quote the waitress who first recommended it to me: "its so good it's stupid."
