Santa Fe XMAS DINNER - RELAXED
So we've done Geronimo's (which we loved), but we're looking for a more casual, relaxed, yes even rustic, experience -- preferably one that doesn't break the bank but not super-duper cheap... cozy, good food. $100-200 for 2 that aren't big drinkers. Tnx.

re: Silverlaker
I was in Santa Fe in October and had a special birthday dinner for my wife at Fuego:

It was fantiastic. We had a table by the fire and it was romantic and cozy. I highly recommend it.

The Eldorado Hotel has the usual fancy, sit-down dinner in their Old House restaurant but they also do a buffet in the Eldorado Court, off the main lobby.
This is what their ad in the Pasatiempo section of the 11/9 Santa Fe New Mexican said...
"From traditional favorites to gourmet delicacies, nothing compares to this gala buffet complete with carving stations. Serving from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults $44, seniors $37, children 4 to 12 $22 plus tax and gratuity. Reservations 995-4508."
I'm personnaly usually a little wary of hotel buffets, but the Old House food IS very good and it this does qualify as more casual.
Otherwise, I'm not sure who else is open besides the "fancy" places.
