I travel through Ky often. Where might one find the best selection of Bourbon in Louisville or Lexington. Owensboro is also reachable. Basically the closer to I-64, 65, or 75, or US 231, the better. I've tried the Liquor Barn, and it's fine (the one on Hurstbourne in L'ville), but was hoping maybe to find something with an even better selection). For example, what is out there that's even better than Noah's Mill, and where is it?

You might try Old Town on Bardstown Road at Sherwood in the Highlands (retailer). If you want to taste, Bourbons Bistro on Frankfort Avenue has a great selection.

If you're interested, the Woodford Reserve Distillery is a gorgeous place to visit.

If you're looking for stuff that may be difficult to find elsewhere, it looks like Old Town has the 21-yr Rittenhouse Rye, which is pricey but has gotten tremendous reviews. I'd also look for Sazerac 18-yr rye and George T Stagg bourbon. Other Sazerac/Buffalo Trace brands that might show up are Thomas H. Handy (barrel proof rye) and maybe even the Buffalo Trace experimental collection (different barrel finishes).

Maybe it's just because they don't show up here, but that's what I look for when I'm traveling.

Old Town is pretty close to Lynn's. They are a 5-10-minute drive from each other. No highways or expressways involved.
