PA to TN along I 81

HEATHER2780 Nov 9, 2007 08:46 AM

I will be traveling from PA to TN along I 81 in March. I would like to know if anyone has ideas of places to get a quick bite to eat with the exception of fast food. Any help would be appreciated. I usually enjoy stopping at Cracker Barrel.

Thank you - Heather

You're in luck. 5 CB's from Wilkes-Barre through Chambersburg. (Chambersburg is truckstop/fastfood central.) One in the little piece of WV. 9 in VA. And two in TN.

You will want to post a query on the South board so that locals can help you with that major leg of your travel through Virginia with recommendations.

I don't know if the exit is off I-70 and I-81 or just I-70, but in Hagerstown the AC&T at the outlet mall has great fried chicken, mac and cheese, potato wedges and etc. They have some booths you can eat at inside. It is good stuff.

Harrisburg and Carlisle PA have some good choices:

Also, there are good options in Winchester VA. Check the South board:

PA to TN on I-81 is a long long long long monotonous boring drive. Take some good CDs.
