Ruth's Chris giftcard - any suggestions?

I've got a giftcard for Ruth's Chris and am heading there tomorrow night (Conn. Ave) - just wondering if anyone has been and can steer me towards anything I shouldn't miss. Will not likely go again on my own dime... Thanks!

this is mildly OT, but close enough...was listening to Hannity (who claims to love Ruth's Chris--one of his best advertisers--and passes out giftcards to his favorite callers) not long ago when someone called doing an obvious imitation of the stereotypical patriotic returning vet, just WAY over the top, saying "all the time I was fighting Islamofascism in Iraq, I was dreaming of a thick, sizzlin' Ruth's Chris steak!" (not kidding, he said "sizzlin'".) Hannity bought it hook, line, and sinker, and awarded the "soldier" a giftcard to Ruth's Chris.

I guess it's too late, but I would have recommended the bone-in ribeye.

At the Ruth's Chris in Baltimore (about 2 years ago at least) they had a really fantastic bread pudding for dessert. It was by far my favorite part of the meal :)

That particular Ruth's Chris is my favorite, of all the ones I've visited--it's like being in a little old castle that was built inside a cave.

The best cut of steak I've had there is the Porterhouse for two. I really enjoyed when the server sliced it up tableside and placed the pieces, cut side down, on my sizzling, butter-coated plate.

If you get a steak, make sure to request the butter on the side or not at all. I personally hate that they ruin a perfectly good piece of meat with hot, sizzling butter all over the thing.

I also remember really liking the creamed spinach and potato au gratin dishes at the Boston Ruth Chris'. (I also recall that meal being insanly rich in cream :) )

I absolutely agree with Elyssa. The smell of butter alone in that place is heavy enough to taste. I had the very respectable petit filets with shrimp without butter, bloody rare, and think they are one of the better dishes. The creamed spinach is always a hit as well.

Couldn't finish my badly made martinis, though (tried three times).

The Jumbo lump crab coctail is good. I also happen to be a fan of the Onion Rings. I don't find their steaks to be can't miss items.
