Katz's Reuben

anybody had one? any good?

anything else great at Katz's besides the obvious?

  1. I'm not a fan of it. And I do love their corned beef.

    1. We've had it but not recently. As I recall, they place it in a microwave to melt the cheese (not a plus.) Also, you can order it with pastrami as opposed to the traditional corned beef.

      Like I said, it's been a while but I almost feel like it sacrilege to do this to the most sublime pastrami (or decent corned beef for that matter.)

      In addition to the pastrami I also like their hot dogs and knoblewurst. The Dr. Browns, fries or a knish goes without saying ;)

      1. I love Katz's Reubens. It's mountainous and the pastrami is incredible. Microwave or not, you can't miss it.


        1. I get my Katz's reuben made with pastrami instead of corned beef...yum!!!!

          1. I like their brisket (uncorned) when the guilt of ingesting all that sodium keeps me away from the pastrami. Also love their tongue (cold), but iI think it has even more fat and sodium than the pastrami.
