At last good felafel in East Boca

stumbled on this place today:-

Cravings, corner of Yamato and SE 2nd Ave (Boca Raton Blvd, SE corner) in Boca Tica Plaza.

excellent falafel, humous and salad bar which you can stuff into your pita and spill over onto your plate as much as you like for about $6.00. Good tabouleh and other israeli type salads, all vegetarian and dairy. Nice looking cakes and wow they also have chocolates sold loose such as truffles and cookies. Definitely going again, open breakfast lunch and till about 7pm (I think). Very clean too. Owned and run by an Israeli so it tastes authentic.

  1. I wondered if they had something other than chocolate and coffee. Thanks for the heads up.

    1. This sounds interesting. Thanks for the tip.

But if you're looking for really good Middle Eastern food in East Boca, try Boca Skewers (130 NE 2nd Street (Mizner Plaza) 561-347-9961.) Their falafel sandwich is fresh and very good (not warmed up like some other places.) Kafta Kabob, Chicken Kabob, Lamb Kabob - they're all good as is the Chicken Soltani and lamb shanks for dinner. And everything comes with a bowl of the best lentil soup.

I agree - Boca Skewers is a great restaurant. There baba ghanous (sp?) is some of the best I have had and I love the soup!
