Any good italian places to take 8 people in the heart of Philadelphia on a Saturday night?
La Viola Ovest at 252 S. 16th St. The best! And they have a great back room that opens onto the prettiest courtyard- perfect for a large group.
L'Angolo or La Locanda del Ghiotone, both very good. L'Angolo is on the smallish side but the best Italian in the city, IMHO. Both are BYOB.
I prefer Branzino to La Viola and it's a block away. I find their food more inspired.
