Anyone know where I can buy Indian serving bowls?

I'm giving a dinner party in a couple of weeks and I'd love to serve my appetizers in those tiny little silver or bronze bowls that you find in Indian restaurants. Often you'll see all the bowls presented on a single silver tray. The tray/bowls appear to come as a set, and each bowl holds aproximately 1 - 2 cups of food.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've seen a million ceramic dishes in various sizes that would work, but I'd prefer something that looks a bit more traditional, and hopefully not too pricey. The ones I've seen in Indian restaurants seem perfect because they're lovely and also small.

Thanks in advance for your tips!

The stores in Little India on Gerrard East.

I second that suggestion. Tons of choices on Gerrard and not at all pricey.

I've seen silver ones at Tap Phong on Spadina. Gerrard is also an awesome suggestion, start at Coxwell and work you way west...

Thanks very much you guys! I'll head to Gerrard on Saturday! And Kiwi - thanks for the Spadina suggestion. I've searched a few stores there and have come out empty handed... but I'll definitely check Tap Phong if I don't find anything in Little India. Is Tap Phong north or south of Baldwin?

I think you're referring to the mess trays, or the tins, or food tumblers (different people call them different things). As suggested, you can find them very easily and quickly on gerard!
