Since on the topic of Long Branch, I looked at this menu and thought I might try it in the near future. Has anyone been?
Agree that the menu is a bit pricey, but many of the items sound very appealing. Angelina, please let us know if you visit.
Rather than enter into the price debate just yet, I can tell you that I have been to Roselli's with my wife and daughter. You can see what their prices are on their site, you can make the decision as to what you want to spend. What I can say is that the meal was exceptional. I started with a special appetizer, a duck confit with a cranberry chutney. It was beyond great. For an entree I had an excellent swordfish which was also a special, and came with broccoli and winter squash. Nice combo of veggie's for the fall. Wife had the sea bass which she loved. The portions were without a doubt very large. I didn't have room for dessert but did manage a bite or two of the chololate souffle my daughter had. Also great. She had room for dessert because her meal was the crab fondue appetizer which she had as an entree. I also managed to snag a couple bites of the fondue which I also enjoyed. In short I thought that the food was great and the menu creative. The portions were large, and I mean large! I guess I look at expensive as more than the bottom line. If I had a great meal, if those with me had a great meal, if the portions were large, if the service was attentive and the surroundings nice, the price can and should reflect this. My experience was great!
