Theater District with my grandfather

  • 3

Do you have any suggestions for a non-Italian restaurant in the theater district on Friday night that is handicapped accessible? My granfather walks with a cane (no wheelchair) but a restaurant without stairs and the seats are packed too tightly together. Also, I'd prefer if we could walk to theater, but I guess we could leave enough time to take a cab there from restaurant. We are seeing a show on W 50th between Broadway and 8th ave. No Italian b/c we are doing that on Saturday.

  1. I had lunch at Marseille on 9th and 44th with my friend who was using a cane after surgery. No problems with accessibility at the restaurant. We allowed enough time and she was able to walk slowly to the nearby theater. I believe they have a prix fixe dinner. I discovered the place on this board (thanks again, RGR). You may want to look at their Mediterranean menu on menupages.com to see if it will work for you. You can also search this site for recent threads on Marseille. Not sure if 9th is an option since you said 8th in your OP.

    1. Chez Napolean maybe?
