BLT Sandwich in Beverly Hills? West Hollywood?

redhifi Nov 6, 2007 09:37 AM

I'm on a BLT kick - had a great one at Joan's on Third and a passable one from Famima. Now I want to keep exploring! I work in Beverly Hills so I'm looking for something close by for lunch today. Any ideas?

Try the Brighton Coffee Shop. It can be crowded, but it's good and relatively inexpensive.

The Farm has a really nice version with applewood smoked bacon, arugala, oven-roasted tomatoes and avocado.

I like the BLT at Campanile.

I must admit, however, that I am still stunned you found any thing that was actually "passable" at Famima.

Thanks! I'll probably try them all!

Walter's, in the office building on Camden does a good one. So does Bailey's Bakery on Crescent, which only costs about $5.00.

Best BLT (actually a BLTA) I've ever had, ever, anywhere, is at lunch at Lucques. I think, however, that they're only on the menu during the summer months when really good tomatoes are available. In any event, the Lucques version is phenomenal.

I agree with this rec. Lucques had their Farewell Tomato dinner this past Sunday, so I think the sandwich is off the menu until next year.

Roxbury Cafe - Beverly Hills (G. Triangle).

HAve you tried Nate and Al's?

I have not had a BLT there, but everything else that they make is great.
