Any Cafes across from Holt Renfrew?

Wondering if there is a cafe or restaurant across from Holt Renfrew?
(Yorkville)

Tonight they are unveiling their Holiday Christmas Window AND
ARETHA FRANKLIN is set to do a mini-FREE concert at 7pm

A small group of us, hungry, want a location close to Holt's to view the festivities:)

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Wow! Aretha!?! Maybe I'll go! I love that woman. There really isn't any place that will give you a clear view of Holt Renfrew. The closest is the Bloor Street Diner in the Manulife Centre, but, no view.

Definitely no good place to view, esp. since they are tearing up the south side of the street right now and traffic is already down to two lanes. Not sure if the work will be done before Friday or not, I'm sure it's giving event planners ulcers.

Your best bet would be to see if you can make a reservation in Holt's cafe. It does have a few tables by the large window at the front of the store and I think you can see out from there.

I think we are just going to pack some Hot Chocolate and Baileys, and bundle up
A friend of mine just told me they are starting to close down the street for the concert

        Dress warmly. She's performing outdoors.
