mom & pop old world Italian restaurant east Boston?

have heard of a great place in eastie old school, what is the name?

  1. I'm guessing you're thinking of Caffe Italia. Very good old school Italian/Italian-American, with a really nice caffe as well.

      1. caffe italia and rino's place are both great little old scool italian restaurants in eastie...if you want a quick bit during the day, meridian market (proscuitto and mozzarella sub), and milano's (chix, broc, ziti, and ravioli) and great bets.

        1. Could also be Jeveli's in Day Square, though I think Rino's and Caffe Italia are both better...
