      <content>Farmer Brown hasn't yet opened its doors at 25 Mason @ Turk Street. I see that it's painted a deep blue with black awnings. Mid-May opening?...Will it open next week?</content>

      <content>I tried the Watermelon Margarita at the bar and it was great. I'll be back to try the food next.

      <content>I just had the most incredible dinner and drinks at Farmer Brown.
 
Firstly, the ambiance is very sexy.  Lots of TLC went into this space and it's whole story.  I had read the article in the Chron' Food Section this AM and I was thrilled to hear about their bent toward organic &amp; free range ingredients and produce from African American Family Farms.
 
We dropped in with no reservation at 5:40PM and were seated immediately.  We ordered two watermelon margaritas and then were served a plate of mini biscuits and corn bread with an sweet pepper jelly sauce.  For Apps we ordered the Kennebec Fries with Green Garlic Aioli as well as the crab souffle.  Both were delicious.
 
For Entrees we ordered the roasted chicken and fried chicken along with a side of the sweet potatoes with roasted plantains.  The roasted chicken (poussin or maybe a little larger) surrounded by mixed greens and a meyer lemon sauce was yummy and a very generous portion without being overwhelming.  The Fried Fulton Valley Farms Chicken was perfectly cooked.  The crust was as light as air and the chicken moist and real hot.
 
Go over and try it yourselves, it's a real treat.
