Holiday Dinner - 24 People

Any recommendations for good restaurants in the Boston area that would fit a group of around 24 people? Ideally a location with a private room would be great....THANKS!

We just booked our holiday party at Tapeo. We have had over work related events there but never our holiday party. I know they have a private room in the back which can hold about 30 (which I have used before) then you can also rent out their dining rooms. We have the upstairs dining room because we are a group of 80! The pricing is surprisingly inexpensive and they offer some great beverage packages, depending on what time of coworkers you have!

they have a great private room at Eastern Standard. I'm not sure how hard it is to get, but its definitely worth a try!

Doesn't Rialto have a private room too?

Because of the short notice...it will probably end up being a weeknight sometime after 5:30pm.

The Mistral and Aujord'Hui recommendations are good ones. Eastern Standard Kitchen also has a back room though 24 people might be pushing it a bit but it's worth asking. They are also priced quite reasonably. Another option is Davio's which has several private rooms though I'd personally choose Mistral over Davio's in that price point.

                  HI Blunie:
a great place would be Fiores in the North End--they have actually 3 floors--with great views etc. the food is good too and reasonable.

                  Check it out!!

I've never heard anything good about the food at Fiores. Can you add any details?

I agree with you yumyum. I've eaten there and thought it was totally mediocre. The only reason we really went there was to sit outside.

You better book VERY soon. Most places likely already are fully booked.

Two places come to mind, both of which will be very good, both of which will give you a private room and both of which will be very expensive (approx $200 per person all in): Mistral and Aujord 'Hui.

I have been to Fiores a few times and It is Mostly Traditional Italian and was good
the chicken parm, veal saltimbocca and shrimp, scampi were good.

I think the prices are reasonable and great for a large group!
