We visited this great area last week at our timeshare. Went to lunch mostly and wanted to share our experiences. These places have been touted previously, but an update is always good.

Corkscrew: We love this place! I had the trout and salad, would never have anything else. It's just wonderful. My guy had a roasted pork sandwhich with a hint of BBQ sauce, not the shredded and drenched, but sliced with a bit of sauce. He pronounced it great. Cute new, colorful oilcloth tablecloths too.

Cafe Rustica: Beautiful day, so we sat out and I didn't see the inside. Had a late breakfast, so order apps. To start, the waiter was wistful and uncaring, seeming to be puting in his time. Very slow and neglected to tell us about specials. We just happened to hear them as we were eating. BAD.
We started with the calamari, just ordinary, seemed frozen and tasteless. I followed that with the best butter lettuce salad I have ever had and the guy had the clam app that he loved. I know, we didn't try the pizza, their specially. Next time, as we will go again, hoping for a better server.

Peppers in PG: Loved this place, the food, the waiter et al. I thought my guy was going to stand up on the chair and shout "OLE" over the beef enchiladas. They used pieces of roast beef and a wonderful sauce, not the thick usual gravy-type. I had sword fish tacos to live for. They were not served with the usual cabbage and cream sauce, but pico de gallo, guac, cheese, lettuce. Margaritas were just OK.

Nepenthe: It lives and reigns superior! The view, the burgers, the general ambiance, the servers...the best, never disappoints.
