Gullivers Pizza

I forgot how much I like this place! I grew up in the neighborhood and Gullivers pizza was a staple. But today, after a day wandering the city, their pan sausage pizza was perfect. We pre-ordered and had just enough time to feed the baby soup before the pizza was served. The pizza was perfect, service was great and there was parking right in front of the restaurant.

  1. We lived in Evanston for 4 years and went there once - right before we moved. I had always wanted to try it! I love the wacky decor and the service was really, really good. The pizza was good and different than other Chicago places. I wasn't too interested in some of the menu items, I think the pizza is where it's at.

    1. I've eaten at Gullivers 5 or 6 times and have never had their pizza! My 80 yr old uncle was a regular there for lunch and knew everyone. Whenever we went to visit him, that was our spot to go. I always thought the food was great and that they had a pretty extensive menu outside of pizza. He passed away a few years ago so I haven't been there in about 4 years as we live about 50 miles away. I loved the crazy decor and everyone was always very nice.
