Thanksgiving dinner between NJ & CT

My sister lives near Hartford, CT and I'm in NJ. We are looking for a Thanksgiving dinner somewhere between us that is not very expensive. We are a large party (10 adults, 5 kids). We are all willing to travel to meet but we don't know where to look. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.

    1. Check out the Three Bears Restaurant in Westport -- easy access from the Merritt Parkway at (I think) exit 40 or 41. They have their Thanksgiving menu posted on their website (www.threebearsrestaurant.com).
I think the Silvermine Tavern in Norwalk (which is harder to find, but very "New England charming") also serves Thanksgiving.

        1. jfood would recommend The Elms restaurant in Ridgefield, CT. Chef Brendan Walsh is fantastic and makes traditional American food with a new touch. Jfood has to believe his T'giving dinner would ne outstanding.

            1. Definitely check out Crystal Springs Resort they have a ton of different options all listed on their website (http://crystalgolfresort.com/DiningWi...) and they have options ranging from affordable to extravagent. Good luck and have a great thanksgiving!
