A brief, personal report on Mekong I (Beretania)

1. Thought their signature dish (fish in yellow bean and ginger sauce) was very good. Definitely would order it again.
2. The (stuffed) Bangkok chicken wings would have been better if they were not breaded, so the chicken skin itself would have been crisped. Otherwise, OK.
3. The coconut ice cream was creamy, but would be improved by adding coarsely-ground (about pea-sized) pieces of coconut as I have had elsewhere.
4. $3.95 for a glass of iced coffee was too much by a dollar, at least.

For those who are reading along, Beretania is apparently a neighborhood in Honolulu.

No, it's a street a very long street. The neighborhood is more Makiki.

And, since there are two Mekong's in Honolulu, the Beretania reference clarifies which location.
