I want to meet with my cousin in Flushing, Michigan. What do you advise about the restaurants there? I've been away for a long time.

  1. Wow, you're the only Eartha I've ever heard of except for Eartha Kitt. There was a Flint/Frankenmuth thread recently here:

Unsurprisingly, a restaurant in Flushing itself, Fandangles, recently placed in the top 5 in a national best-restrooms contest. But I haven't eaten there.

My online name, Eartha, comes from my kitty, Miss Eartha Katt. She's half black, half white, very feisty and purrs like an angel (remember 'Santa Baby'?) She also sits on the monitor while I'm working on the computer so it was an easy choice for my online moniker.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

    2. Eartha, not much going on in flushing, Fandangles is ok, not sure about the hours of operation, the Speakeasy is long gone, the best and it can be very nice is Kathy's located in downtown flushing, full menu, and drinks, many specials, and the town is nice to walk around, If you want to travel to flint, the redwood lodge is nice, Red Rooster is the best, Sorrento's is also very good,

      1. My favorite is The Big Eazy Grill in Flint near the corner of Dye & Corunna Rd, easy from Flushing.
        Here's their menu.
