Hi. I'm looking for a great place in Chinatown where we can actually sit and have a comfortable, afforable, and delectable meal. It could be Chinese, Thai, or Vietnamese. Any suggestions please? Thank you

  1. I'm not sure what you mean by comfortable, as the the best restaurants in Chinatown are typically chaotic. But if food and affordability are most important, Joe's Shanghai on Pell St. is wonderful. Best if you have a group because most tables are large and they will seat you with strangers. Can be fun or awful depending on your attitude. The pork shoulder, fresh bacon (i.e. pork belly) with dried vegetables, yellowfish fingers, jellyfish and of course the soup dumplings with crab are all great.
