SOHO/WVill: Need Suggestion for High Quality Seafood

My brother is in from out of town, want to take him somewhere nice, high quality, price not a major concern. Seafood-focused restaurant, always been a fan of Ed's, Pearl, and Mermaid Inn, but thought I'd ask for new suggestions. Ideally want to stay around the Village/SoHo area.

    Aquagrill. Love their mussel soup.

Well I definitely want to try Aquagrill now, but my brother is really in the mood for a lobster roll, so Pearl it is.I will certainly keep AG in mind for the future though. Thanks all

While I like Aquagrill - I love Pearl - esp. the lobster roll, and the fried oysters. My husband is a fan of the steamers. Enjoy!

We did steamers, oysters, clam chowder, me and my brother both did the lobster roll, his girlfriend did the black sea bass (entire fish). All was well, we were seated in about 15 minutes at 9PM, service was great, always happy to eat there, though really want to try Aquagrill now.

Aquagrill is certainly excellent! Not just dinner, their brunch is very delicious as well!

If you want a real "restaurant" rather than a seafood "joint", I will suggest Fresh in tribeca. Their lobster roll is quite good, albeit a bit small compared to Pearl. It is a seafood restaurant and so you can order many other seafood dishes or go with the tasting menu.
