I go to the pubquiz there pretty regularly.
the wedge salad is fine. the chowder isn't bad. the drinks are good - irish coffee more than passable (i get it with powers). No desserts to speak of. sliders will do - the shepherd's pie (with guiness?) is pretty decent. Also, the cheese stuffed jalapenos make a nice shared appetizer.
I've gone there a couple times a month for a few years and I think the food is pretty good pub food. The prices did go up recently on the menu. I think the fish and chips are a pretty good example of the dish. I've had the shepard's pie and several of the salads and all were fine by me. I haven't eaten the clam chowder in a while, but it's always seemed a little too salty to me. The food is fine, I don't think it'll blow you over, but I don't think you'll be displeased. Haven't had any of the appetizers recently, so I can't comment on those. I think the menu says you can get your fries large like steak fries or shoestring, but the one time I asked about trying the shoestring style they didn't have them. You could ask if your interested. Maybe I just happened to ask when they were out of stock.
