Indian Sweets
Can someone recommend a place in the East Bay (Oakland/Berkeley) to get a good selection of Indian sweets/desserts to go.

I love Indian sweets! I recommend Viks, 726 Allston Way, Berkeley. They have a very wide variety of delicious sweets daily.

Question I am looking for something I do not recall the name of- it's like Paneer and maybe this is what it is, but in a dessert form, always cold with pistachio's and sits in it's own milk. I use to get this years ago at a little Indian Sweet and Spice shop in Venice Beach.

Vik's is the way to go. I have found that the better offerings sell out soon after lunch starts.
