Scottsdale - need rec for 1 dinner
Only have one free night. No steakhouse. Expensive is fine. Delicious food; nice ambience; not too loud.

I am going to put in a good word for one of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale: Voltaire. Subdued, quiet, excellent. This French restaurant is one of the best "hidden gems" in the Valley. Should you head there, try the Onion Soup and any of the desserts made tableside. It really is a wonderful place that gets little press.

There is an excellent restaurant, elements, as I'm sure you're aware of on-site. I'll include some placemarks for others close by - search the board and you'll find lots more info about these places.

Rancho Pinot Grill and Methode Bistro fit the bill. Both are relatively centrally located, as well.
