Quick Lunch - St. Johnsbury

Science Chick Nov 2, 2007 11:51 AM

I am going to be in St. Johnsbury, VT on Sunday afternoon and need a place to get a quick snack or lunch and sit and read for an hour or so. Anything? Elements is not open on Sundays, so that is out. I can't travel outside of the town more than 10 minutes, as I will need to be back quickly to give someone a ride.

THanks for any help!!

Try the Surf & Sirloin on Portland Street. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the Chef is pretty good. They're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. Anthony's Diner on Railroad Street is also pretty popular...

Kham'sThai restaurant on Rt 5 North is good and quite reasonable. Miss Lyndonville Diner is maybe a bit more than 10 minutes north but very quick and a nice diner.
