Hey Bawlmer Hounds,

My wife and I are moving to town the day before Thanksgiving and won't have our belongings till the following week or longer. We may be potentially dining at a family members house but if that falls apart I need a back-up plan. The options are open. In can be traditional TDay food or something different. If there is a local list of restaurants open on Thanksgiving, let me know. All reccomendations are welcome from French, Italian and Mediterranean to Chesepeake Style, Asian or Latin. Thanks in advance.

I don't know where there is a list, but I do know Oregon Grille in Hunt Valley is open. Also, on Tuesday, Elizabeth Large's blog (the food critic for the Sun) is doing the top ten restaurants for Thanksgiving dinner. Here's the link to her blog.

I got an email from the Cindy Wolf/Tony Foreman group and apparently Charleston is open on Thanksgiving and has a yummy looking menu. You should look on their website charlestonrestaurant.com.

Here is a list of some places open on Thanksgiving. http://baltimore.about.com/od/fooddri...
Not all are necessarily recommended, like, say, the Captain James, but they cut across a wide geographical slice. So it's a good place to start.
