Anyone know the easiest way to get there? I think I'm the only person on CH who hasn't been!

  1. Take the 7 train to 61st street ( I think). Basically the 7 to queens puts you 3 blocks away

    1. lukebdonnelly is right, but for future handy reference, hopstop.com is awesome.

      1. Take the 7 (regular or express) to 61st Street-Woodside. Walk east on the north side of Roosevelt Ave (streets will get higher in #) to 64th street, turn left onto 64th street and go one small block to 39th ave and you'll be able to see it. Enjoy.

Alternatively you could take the R/V to 65th street, walk south on 65th street to 39th ave and take a right and you'll be there also.

Is it easy to park around there or is subway the way to go?

It depends on the night. Friday and Saturday can be tough as lots of people come to the bars in the area to party - to say nothing of the folks lining up to get into Sri. This can make parking a bit difficult. The rest of the week you should be able to park within a block or 2, if not right out front. If you can't park right there on 39th Ave. try the meter spaces on Roosevelt, which are free after 7 PM. But the subway is an even better way to go, especially the 7 train to 61st St. or 69th St., since it runs practically right in front of the restaurant.

We've had no problem parking at 6pm on the weekend, FWIW.

On Saturday and Sunday afternoons we have no problem parking right around the corner.

        2. Sripraphai is basically less than a 15 minute walk from the 61st St/69th St stations on the 7 train, the 65th St Station on the R/V/G trains, and Roosevelt/74th St stations on the E,F,G,R,V,7. Hopefully this Google Maps link will show all the stations nearby: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&amp...

Less than 15 minutes? I would say less than 5 minutes...

i'd say 2 if you know where you're going - it's just 3-4 very short blocks. away, even closer if you exit thru the East end of LIRR track1 platform...

          2. Hope you're not going tonight - they are closed Wednesdays.
