saturday night dinner for 5 -- help!

I used to live in the city and have since moved to DC. This is my one night of good eats in Manhattan. No reservation yet, and our budget is prob. about 40/person. we'll go anywhere in the city or brooklyn, and are flexible on cuisine (greek, italian, french, asian, spanish, mexican, whatever) -- just make it good!
