ISO coffee shop around Beverly Center

Can anyone suggest a nice, relaxing coffee shop/cafe around the Beverly Center. The only thing that comes to mind is Urth Cafe but the parking is horrible. Any ideas?

Good thing about Jan's is you can walk over from the Beverly Center.

Just past Urth is Pain Quotidien -- yes a chain but a yumy French organic one. Haven't found parking that big an issue -- but maybe depends on when you go.

Kings Cafe, just a few blocks east on Beverly. I'm not a fan of the food, though obviously a lot of people are. But they make damn good coffee. Enter the coffeebar door on the left for a more relaxed, sit and hang vibe.

Or, if you're willing to drive about a mile and a half futher east on Beverly, there's Isomnia and Susina, again both great for coffee, cake and conversation, but not so much lunch.

I agree - the food at Kings Road is absolute inedible garbage ... but the coffee is the best in the city. I still come from the Palisades to buy it there.

Trad american coffee shop - Jan's on beverly blvd

if you mean a place that is a coffee bar/cafe, look elsewhere for your iced blended.
