Any great restaurants in Frazier Park Area?

If everything works out, we are buying an awesome property in the Frazier Park area, & leaving LA (yahoo!). Now, is there anything fabulous in the area or reasonably close, or will I have to actually utilize my great cookbook collection if I want a gourmet meal?

  1. Frazier Park up near the grapevine? Fabulous? You are kidding right?

    1. PeterL nailed it as far as I know. It's been a couple of years, but in our search for places while traveling 99 and I-5, we found this one to be a pleasant surprise.

        Thanks, PolarBear,
We drove past this plac & will have to check it out. I also saw two Mexican restaurants, & a pizza place near Lockwood Valley Rd./Cuddy Valley Rd., & read about a restaurant in Pine Mountain Club in the local paper. There are several residential/small business areas west of the Frazier Park area on the 5 that most people are familiar with, so I was hoping there might be something in one of those.

I remember seeing a pizza place when we drove through, but don't recall any Mexican spots, there was quite a bit of snow piled up at the time however. Be sure and report back on any finds, it'd be great if there was a decent Mexican place just off that stretch of highway.

            Hi, Polar Bear,
There is a pretty new one right when you exit the 5 (I forget the name) that our realtor said is pretty good, & has a lot of seafood on the menu.

      2. There is a new BBQ Diner with really good food and fair prices about 6 miles west of the Frazier Park exit called J & B's Grill and BBQ. Try checking that one out.
