Since I pay thousands every year to warehouse them in places called 'schools' I figure they should be giving me Twix bars rather than the other way around. So we went to 9Fish. Our first time. Our waiter, from the Plano part of Japan, explained that the menu was new because the restaurant has changed ownership. Most of the staff, including the chef, are new. Since I never went there under the old regime I cannot assess whether the food is better or different. Maybe someone else on this board could do so. Anyhow, we liked the Japanese Ceviche (albeit misnamed), the Heart Attack roll and the Philadelphia roll. I, half-seriously, asked for real wasabi and the chef produced not one but two. The one he (and I) prefer is from California. Very pungent. Friendly staff. I will go back. His specials would always be some type of super high grade sashimi in a martini glass for $20. It's the only place I have ever broke $100 for lunch for myself without drinking.
